Job Title: Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: 10+ years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver SAP solutions in a global environment.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of functional experience in retail, manufacturing, or service industries.

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on SAP experience in ECC or S/4HANA.

  • At least 2 full-cycle SAP SD implementation projects.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • SAP S/4HANA Sales configuration and end-user processes.

    • O2C processes: customer master data, contracts (quantity/value), order types, item categories, scheduling lines.

    • Availability check, requirements transfer, MRP run.

    • BOM, production planning, and logistics execution (delivery, picking, packing, PGI).

    • Billing (periodic, milestone), rebate agreements, intercompany billing, stock transfers.

    • Material classification, batch management, batch split.

    • Integration with FICO, MM, PP.

    • Sales order costing and copying control for sales documents.

    • Pre-sales (inquiry, quotation) and consignment stock management.

    • SAP S/4HANA credit management and Fiori apps.

    • Working with third-party system interfaces (Idocs).

  • Strong skills in problem analysis, debugging, and solution design.

  • Hands-on experience with project lifecycle: requirements gathering, BRD/FS preparation, testing (UT, SIT, UAT), data migration, cutover, hypercare.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Good to Have

  • SAP Certification.

  • Experience with ACTIVATE or Agile methodology.

  • IS-Retail exposure.

  • Team management experience.

  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
